FAQ

When and where will the conference take place?

The 4th International Optometry Conference will take place on the 24th till the 26th of September 2023 at IIT Madras Research Park, Tharamani, Chennai.

What is the registration cost?

Conference registration costs are listed on the registration page.

Can I avail discounts?

No discounts apply to early-bird registration pricing.

Is a group discount available?

Will the Conference close registration at any point?

Due to the popularity of the event, we recommend that attendees should register early as there is a possibility that the event will sell out.

Can I register on-site at the event?

Yes, registrations are accepted onsite, however, we encourage you to register early to receive valuable conference information and updates.

Does the registration fee include travel costs for the conference?

All travel costs and hotel accommodations are the responsibility of the attendee. We will not provide any travel cost/ Accommodation.

How is my registration confirmed?

After completing your registration, you will receive a confirmation email with your registration information.

If I can’t attend, can I cancel my registration?

In order to cancel your registration, written notification must be sent by email to communications@indiavisioninstitute.org along with Identity Proof. Cancellation is permitted up to the 31st of August  2023, only 50% of the registration fee would be refunded. No refunds for cancellations made after the 31st of August 2023. All refunds will be processed within 30 days after the conference.

What should I bring to the conference?

Bring your Student ID Card. Come prepared with notes and possible questions you would like to ask the speakers. The agenda will be provided in hard copy to all participants at the event. 

What are the conference credentials?

You will be receiving a permit card at the registration desk. Your badge is your "ticket" into all conference activities. Badges must be worn at all times and are not transferable at any time.
